\nsays the Lion at Noon:
\ntake heart from the sunlight streaming through windows of
\nthe space
\nyou\u2019re blessed to be in now,take it to heart,
\nthe light playing tag with the clouds,
\ntake it to heart,
\nthe changeableness of the flag
\nflying either way in the breeze,
\ntake it to heart,
\nthe resoluteness of the trees
\nstanding bare or clothed,
\ntake it to heart,
\nthe warmth or cold and the courage
\neach teaches,
\nthe light dappling the beginning of\u00a0 your day
\nwhenever your day starts, whatever kind of light,
\nthe luxury of time that is out of time
\nthe syrup of light mixing with time to dissolve time\u2026
\nthe heartbreak of time
\nthat can be overcome by light,
\ntake that to heart;
\nthe knowledge of the noon light,
\nkeep it centered within you.
\nKnow you\u2019re worthy,
\non your couch
\nor out in the street
\nlounging and loafing,
\npushing and striving,your pace is set by the light,
\nthe on and off of everything,the clatter and the silence,
\nthe stop and go of it,
\nthe dark and light of it,
\nthe chiaroscuro,
\nthe shadow falling on you
\nand the shadow suddenly dispelled for you,
\nthe shadow dancing with you
\nthe way the light dances with you.The Lion at Noon inside you
\nis steady: know your tempo
\nis set by the light,
\npaced by the light,
\nthe steady light of the lion at noon,
\nno matter how it looks,
\nno matter how the light appears.<\/p>\n
